Remodeling a store and keeping it operational is a delicate balance. With one week of preparation work and seven weeks of intense construction, Kohl’s remodeling rollout was a prime example of that balance. Updating the main entrances with new sliding doors, new cash wraps, relocating customer service, rebuilding all fitting rooms, installing all new fixtures in several departments and new flooring in a number of areas were just some of the elements in the typical remodel.
