Chipotle Mexican Grill Orders A Second New York City Restaurant From Schimenti Construction

Ridgefield, CT – Chipotle Mexican Grill, the Denver-based company founded in 1993, has named Schimenti Construction to build its newest New York City restaurant at 625 Broadway.  The store is the second to be built by Schimenti for the “fast casual” chain.

According to Schimenti senior project manager Joseph Schimenti, construction on the 3,100 SF store is expected to begin in April with completion scheduled for mid-summer.  The project involves renovating a former Mexican restaurant into a Chipotle.

Chipotle currently operates over 900 stores throughout the United States and has locations in Canada and Europe.
