Schimenti Announces Key Project Management Promotions
Ridgefield, CT - Schimenti Construction Company announces the promotions of Joseph R. Schimenti and John J. Colonnese to Project Executive.
In the role of Project Executive, Joseph and John will provide direct leadership to project management staff, perform high level project management tasks, endorse superior client advocacy and be accountable for understanding the owner/client’s business objectives and ensure the organization’s solutions meet or exceed the client/owner’s needs.
Joseph R. Schimenti began his career with Schimenti Construction Company in 2000 as an Estimating Coordinator. He matriculated through the Schimenti professional program where he became a skillful Estimator and Assistant Project Manager, advancing to his most recent role of Senior Project Manager. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fairfield University.
Joseph has been the designated project team lead for the Target program since 2008. Additional project contributions include: Chipotle Restaurants; Barnes and Noble Flagship; Gap Flagship; Chico’s; HomeGoods.
John J. Colonnese joined Schimenti Construction Company in 1995 in the role of Project Manager and advanced to his most recent role of Senior Project Manager. His former extensive hands-on field experience has contributed to his thorough understanding of the construction industry and has enabled him to develop a unique expertise combining field, operations, and management experience.
John has been the designated project team lead for the Kohl’s program since 2008. Additional project contributions include: Best Buy; Bed Bath & Beyond/Christmas Tree Shops; Bank of America.
