Luxury retailers rely on three key elements for success: their high-value product line, an exceptional location and a shopping environment that optimizes the buying experience for its customers.
At Schimenti Construction, we clearly understand that creating such an environment takes more than just following the designer/architect’s plans. As a construction partner to many of the country’s leading retailers, we know how important it is to effectively translate those plans into a vibrant, dramatic and visually exciting space.
The 39,000 square-foot, three-level Zara flagship store in New York City is an excellent example. Located in an iconic Manhattan building, within space formerly occupied by the NBA Store, the Zara store is in the midst of one of the busiest shopping areas in the world, and close to Rockefeller Center, the Museum of Modern Art and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It is Zara’s largest U.S. store.
Our knowledge of the intricate process of building in New York City, combined with our commitment to value-engineering, helped us create a special shopping environment while saving time and money.
That’s Schimenti Style.
